Noticer is a small family project, not a big company. This page explains, in plain language, what we collect and what we do with it. Short version: we keep very little, we never sell it, and you can ask us to delete it any time.

What we collect

  • Your email address — if you create a journal or join the apparel waitlist. We use it to sign you in and to send you the occasional note.
  • Your name — only if you choose to give us one.
  • Your sightings — the birds you log, your notes, the date, and any photos you upload.
  • Basic visit numbers — how many people visited a page. This is counted in aggregate; it does not identify you.

What we don't collect

We do not ask for your address, your phone number, or your birthday. We do not store payment card details — if we ever sell shirts, the payment processor handles that and we never see your card number.

Who can see your journal

Your journal is private to you. Nobody else — including other Noticer users — can see your sightings unless you deliberately tap "Share" on one. Sharing creates a link to that single sighting; anyone with the link can view it, and you can ask us to turn it off.

Emails

We send a welcome note when you join, and occasional updates. Every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom, and it works — one tap and we stop. We never pass your email to anyone else.

Advertising

If you arrived here from a Facebook or Instagram ad, Meta may know the ad was clicked. That's how their advertising system works. We don't upload your email or your journal to any advertising platform.

Children

Noticer is made for families, and we hope kids use it — but with a grown-up's account. Accounts are for adults 18 and over, who are welcome to log sightings alongside the children in their lives.

Deleting your information

Email us and we'll delete your account, your sightings and your photos. No forms, no hoops, no "are you sure?" three times over.

Getting in touch

Questions, worries, or something here that doesn't sit right? Write to info@quietflockdesigns.com and a real person — usually Chris — will answer.

Thanks for trusting us with a little corner of your family's attention.
